Windows & Mac
Download the IBO Player desktop client from the official IBO website. Once installed, open and read the MAC from the about menu.
If Something Does Not Load
I see "No playlist found" when I open IBO Player
This means your subscription is not yet linked to the device MAC. Confirm we received your MAC address by checking your email and WhatsApp. Most activations complete in under 10 minutes.
Streams buffer or freeze during prime time
First, run a speed test. We recommend 10 Mbps minimum for HD and 20+ Mbps for 4K. If your speed is fine, try switching from Wi-Fi to a wired connection - most freezing in Montreal during peak hours stems from congested home Wi-Fi.
The EPG (programme guide) is empty
Pull down the channel guide once, wait 30 seconds, and reopen. The EPG is fetched on first launch. If still empty after 5 minutes, contact our support team and we will refresh your server profile.
